Brett Guthrie (Republican Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2009. His current term ends on January 3, 2025.

Guthrie was born on February 18, 1964, in Florence, AL. He earned his B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1987 and his M.P.P.M. from Yale University in 1997. Prior to his political career, Guthrie had served in the United States Army and worked as a businessman.
