Schneider grew up in Denver, Colorado, before moving to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and then later received a master’s from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He worked in Israel for a year before returning to Chicago to work with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Schneider worked at other consulting jobs and businesses before deciding to run for office.
