Ed Case (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Hawaii's 1st Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2019. His current term ends on January 3, 2025.
Case (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Hawaii's 1st Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on August 10, 2024.
Prior to his election to the U.S. House, Case served on the Mānoa Neighborhood Board of Honolulu and in the Hawaii House of Representatives.
An attorney by profession, Case graduated from Williams College and received a law degree from the University of California/Hastings College of Law. He worked as a partner in two private law firms, and as a Chief Legal Officer.
At the beginning of the 116th Congress, Case was assigned to the Committee on Appropriations and the Committee on Natural Resources.
After serving in the state legislature for eight years, Case represented Hawaii's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. He also graduated from the UC Hastings College of Law and worked as a managing attorney at Bays Lung Rose & Holma and Carlsmith Ball, two law firms in Honolulu.
